We are open 7 days a week for Lessons, Rental, Sales and Repairs, subject to weather and availability.

Lessons & Rental are based at Sandgate Beach is about 10minutes walk from Sandgate Train Station. Sandgate station is on the Shorncliffe line, direct from Brisbane City. Train runs twice every hour and only takes just over 30 minutes from the City. There is also a bus services from the city. Details: https://translink.com.au

Shop: Our retail shop has moved to a local warehouse very close to Sandgate, but it is not open to public. However viewing or 'Click & Collect' is available within 15 minutes at Sandgate Beach. Click & Collect service is also available on the Sunshine or Gold Coast locations, subject to staff / stock availability. Please call or email to ensure stock is available before heading over.

To help you find us, we have put together some simple directions..

Driving directions from Brisbane City Central via Sandgate Road

From the city, take the Inner City Bypass heading north and join onto Abbotsford Road joining to Sandgate Road. Go past Clayfield, Toombul, Nundah, Northgate, Virginia, Boondall, North Boondall, and then join onto Braun Road to Deagon. Turn right at Board Street. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Rainbow Street, then your first left onto Lunn Street and at the end of road, turn right onto Keogh Street. At the end of Keogh Street, turn left onto Brighton Road then take you first right onto 5th Avenue. At the End of 5th, turn left onto Flinders Parade and you will find our van parked over the road opposite 162 Flinders Parade, just further down from Sandgate Swimming Pool. If you are using GPS navigation to find us, make sure you type in ‘Sandgate’ after Flinders Parade, as there are several Flinders Parade in the area. If you cannot see our staff at the van, they may be at our gazebo on the beach behind where the van is parked.

Driving directions to Surf Connect from the Gold Coast

From the Gold Coast, take the M1 north, then take the Bruce Highway over the Gateway Bridge (toll road) and drive past the airport exit, then past Virginia, Nudgee, Boondall (Entertainment Center), and take the next turn off at Bracken Ridge/Sandgate. Head east along Bracken Ridge Road onto Deagon Street, joining onto Brighton Road, then take the next left onto 6th Ave, and a final left at the end onto Flinders. You will find our van parked over the road opposite 162 Flinders Parade, just further down from Sandgate Swimming Pool. If you are using GPS navigation to find us, make sure you type in ‘Sandgate’ after Flinders Parade, as there are several Flinders Parade in the area. Driving directions to Surf Connect from the Sunshine Coast

From the Sunshine Coast, take the Bruce Highway south and follow Gateway using the airport directions. Once on the Gateway, take the next turn off to Bracken Ridge/Sandgate. Take the 3rd exit on the first roundabout, keep right, then turn right following signs to Sandgate. Go along Bracken Ridge Road onto Deagon Street, joining onto Brighton Road, then take the next left onto 6th Ave, and left at the end onto Flinders. You will find our van parked over the road opposite 162 Flinders Parade, just further down from Sandgate Swimming Pool. If you are using GPS navigation to find us, make sure you type in ‘Sandgate’ after Flinders Parade, as there are several Flinders Parade in the area. Public transport to Surf Connect- 50 cents only train or bus!

From Brisbane City, take a train to Sandgate on the Shorncliffe line. Trains run every half an hour and normally depart from platform 6 at Central Station. As you come out of the station, cross the road in front of you onto Bowser Parade and at the end of Bowser turn left onto Brighton Road. This is where all the shops are (Woolworths on the left, other shops and banks on the right). Turn right at any street off Brighton Road and that will take you to the waterfront (Flinders Parade).Thanks to permanent Government subsidy, both train and bus services to us are only 50cents each way!
